I tell everyone that asks me who handled my divorce that they need to call Paola if they want it done right. I went to another lawyer in town because just like everyone else you tend to go with the cheapest you can find for this life changing unexpected expense. After I went to this other attorney, I was left with a lot of wasted time and money. I was right back where I had started.
I started asking around for a lawyer that had me and my kids best interest in mind. Paola Parra's name kept coming up over and over. I even over heard two attorneys talking about how "she always gets the job done". The one lawyer even joked and said "I'm going to hire her first before my wife does". I knew right then and there I had to call.
From the time I walked in the door and sat down in Paola's office I knew everything was going to be ok. She had pictures of her kids displayed in various places and to me that was confirmation she understood a mother's heart. As I began to tell her why I was there to see her, the tears just flowed. She very gently gave me tissue and let me continue. She informed me of what my rights were and she handled everything. It was like having a big sister in my corner taking care of a big bully.
After our first court hearing, I wished I had come to her from the get go. She helped empower me as woman and a mother. Here it is 3 years later and I am so happy. My ex-husband and I are able to work together on any issues that come up about our kids. We have had minimal problems with visitation. Child support is spelled out so there is never a question.
My advice to anyone going through a divorce or custody battle is get someone in your corner that can tell you right from wrong and be a calm voice in your storm. I'm forever grateful for how Paola has touched my life.
p.s. She might be pretty and petite but her heart is big and her bite is BIGGER!
