Born Jacksonville, Florida, March 7, 1982; admitted to Florida bar, 2007. Jon Lorimier is a Jacksonville native, and attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate and law school. Upon graduation, Jon Lorimier began his legal career at the Public Defender’s Office, where he handled cases ranging from DUI’s to Attempted Murder. During his time at the Public Defender’s Office Jon Lorimier conducted over fifty jury trials, which gave him a solid foundation in litigation and trial practice. Upon leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Jon practiced at a local Family Law firm for almost five years. He handled matters ranging from child support and timesharing to divorce and modifications, and successfully conducted a multitude of mediations and bench trials.
