“I have full coverage” – Part VII – in closing
While we know there is no such thing as “full coverage”, it is important to look, evaluate and ask questions of the insurer, of exactly what coverage was purchased. If all you are buying is automobile coverage in Florida, shopping every other year, like the ads suggest, will save you money as each carrier is competing for your business. In many instances, loyalty, while commendable, generally will cost you more annually, since the risk of you having an accident increases through pure probability. Ask questions and make sure that not only are you protecting your own assets, but make sure you are protecting yourself and loved ones from others that have little or sometimes, no insurance to cover your own losses.
